I spent years searching for God on every road I could find, in churches and temples, in the books of many faiths, and in the stories of people who had glimpsed Heaven. After all that searching, God did something simple: He guided me just down the street, to a small church I almost drove away from. There I met two young missionaries, opened the Book of Mormon, and read in 3 Nephi 11 where Jesus declares, "Behold, I am the light and the life of the world." I was baptized on 11/11, and only later learned my favorite verse was book 11, chapter 11, verse 11. God moves in mysterious ways, unique to each of us. He met me, and He is still shining on me like the sun. Jesus Christ is the light and the life of the world, and this ministry is my way of helping bring His children home.
