This is what we believe together.
It is the shared faith of this community, written to be rooted in Christ and open to every heart. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here.
The Human Experience
We believe each of us is a child of God, loved completely and made with purpose. Within every person lives a magnificent, brilliant, and creative being, and we are capable of accomplishing beautiful things in this world. Our only true limitation is how little we understand the power God has placed within us.
We believe God gave us free will, and with it the power to create and to shape the reality around us. That power is real whether we use it for Him or apart from Him. The question is never whether we can create, but what we are creating, and with whom.
Submitting to God's Will
When our will and our actions come into alignment with God, building His kingdom and serving His purposes, it is like swimming in a river that flows toward home. The current carries us farther and faster than we ever could on our own. We discover that God, His angels, and all of creation move with us.
When we strive against Him, struggling alone or pulled by the darkness of this world, we are still given the power to create. But now we are swimming upstream, against the will of God and the prayers of His saints. The invitation, always, is to turn and let the river carry us.
"Not my will, but thine, be done." (Luke 22:42)
The Body Is a Temple
We believe the body is a temple, and that it houses something sacred. To care for it is an act of reverence.
We honor the temple of the body through what we take in. Eating whole, nourishing foods in right proportion honors the natural design God gave us.
We honor the temple of the mind through what we dwell on, what we watch, and what we listen to. When we pray, and fill ourselves with words and images that draw us toward God's plan, we keep both mind and spirit clean and strong.
"Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost?" (1 Corinthians 6:19)
God and Jesus Christ
We believe in the God of the Bible, and in Jesus Christ, His Son, crucified, risen, and resurrected, our Lord and Savior. He is the center of this ministry and the cornerstone of all we believe.
We also believe God is greater than any single description of Him. There are many expressions and understandings of God in this world, and we do not try to box Him in or claim Him as ours alone. That instinct is man-made. Instead, we seek Him.
One God, Many Paths
We believe we are all seeking the same God, each in our own way. Whether you are Catholic, Jewish, a Jehovah's Witness, a Latter-day Saint, another Christian, or simply a seeker, you are welcome here. You can worship, fellowship, and grow alongside us. This place is for all of you.
If you do not yet share our belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior, you are no less welcome. Come as you are. Worship with us, ask your questions, and let your relationship with God unfold in its own time.
Called as Saints
We believe every one of us is called by Christ to be a saint, not because we are perfect, but because we are sent. We are called to love one another, to lift the weary, and to help bring the Lord's children home.
After His resurrection, Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him, and three times He gave the same charge: "Feed my sheep." That charge is ours as well. To feed His sheep is to nourish one another with truth, with kindness, and with hope.
"Feed my sheep." (John 21:17)
Grace and the Present Moment
We believe each of us is imperfect, and that no one should be measured by the faults of their past. What matters is the desire of your heart today and the direction you are walking now.
In Christ, the past does not define you.
"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We press forward, "forgetting those things which are behind" (Philippians 3:13), reaching toward what God has placed ahead.
The Latter Days and the Armor of God
We believe we are entering the latter days. There is real wickedness and darkness in the world, and the hearts of many grow heavy. Yet we are not left defenseless.
The full armor of God protects the Lord's saints and equips us to stand firm, to minister, and to serve those in need. Clothed in His strength, we become light in dark places.
"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand." (Ephesians 6:11)
